UltraWire Workshop 2019

Workshop on Commercialisation of Ultra-Conductive Composites

Cambridge Nanomaterials Technology Ltd organised the UltraWire Workshop in order to support commercialisation of ultra-conductive materials and development of nano-carbon and metal composites based technologies for a number of applications, including electrical energy transmission and transport, by bringing together technology development leaders and industrial end-users. This workshop was linked to a Nanomaterials for 3D Printing Workshop. Both workshops took place at Wolfson College, Cambridge and dinner at Hotel Hilton Cambridge City Centre, on the 10th and 11th July 2019.

Around 50 people participated in this workshop, coming from leading manufacturing and research organisations such as: Airbus, Prysmian Group, RTE, ArcelorMittal , E.G.O. Elektro-Gerätebau GmbH, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Europe, Ltd, Bridon-Bekaert, Aurubis, MBDA, ARUP, Cametics, Additive Industries b.v. Leitat Technological Centre, Eurecat, Coatema,Brunel Innovation Centre, TWI, Haydale, IMDEA and universities: National University of Singapore, University of Surrey, University of Cambridge and UCL, among others.
